Duncan's artistic journey draws inspiration from a remarkable tapestry of experiences.

From nurturing young minds as a teacher in Taiwan to navigating the skies as a pilot across Africa and Indonesia, his life has been a vibrant blend of cultural immersion and adventurous pursuits.

A philosophy degree lays the foundation for each piece, questioning form and function. His use of sustainable materials informs his approach, infusing his work with depth and environmental consciousness. 

Fueled by a lifelong passion for crafting with wood, Duncan, a 20-year woodworking veteran, finally saw his dream take root in 2016 with the launch of his successful Vancouver-based business.

Now, his roots have crossed the Atlantic, where his craft takes on a new chapter in his studio based in the peaceful countryside just north of London.
